Social-and-Ecological Aspects of Forage Production Reform in Ukraine in the Early 21st Century

On the basis of "three sigma" rule, a statistical stratification Ukrainian effective community into economic welfare groups according to their social and status has been carried out, thus creating for substantiating expediency reforming forage production sector in order further expand organic livestock products through up-to-date approaches formation use climate adaptive feed-related phytocenoses. In increase productivity grass fodder, an innovative model grass-grazing complex developed. Its structure includes cyclic wedge long-term cereal-bean pasture which involves perennial grasses botanical species adapted zonal ecological technological conditions, satellite traditional mixtures annual crops atypical plants – burnet polygamous (Poterium poligamum Woldst. et Kit.), prairie dock (Silphium perfoliatum L.) others, whose herbage is used during off-season, when main found be low-yielding, as well sheltered base, equipped with outdoor hoppers shelters designed protect animals bad weather. The introduction meadows pastures system fodder will contribute improvement stabilization cheap adequately nutritious herbal feeds increasing resource potential area.
